Almost all of Aruba’s casino went smoke-free. In addition to recommitting to smoking in public places, Aruba’s Government raised the legal age to purchase cigarettes to 21. There are also a few hotels that have smoking rooms available. There are a few designated smoking areas in some of these places, but they are usually outdoors. This includes beaches, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Although Aruba is a tourist destination known for its beautiful beaches and lively nightlife, smoking is not allowed in many public places on the island.
